Huisje 20 ligt op 45 min rijden van Amsterdam, op een rustig kleinschalig recreatieparkje. Het huis (90m2 - 2 verdiepingen) vind je op hetzelfde parkje als onze andere huisjes nr 7 en nr 9 (200m verderop). Het heeft een schitterend weids uitzicht over de velden en staat op een tuin van 550m2 omringd door bomen en struiken, waardoor we veel privacy hebben. Er zijn verschillende hoekjes en zitplekjes (ook o.a. in een tuinkasje) en een buitenhaardje. In de tuin vind je een klimdome, schommel + trampoline.

Our countryside house is a 45 min drive from Amsterdam, on a quiet and small Recreational Park, with a magnificent wide view overlooking the fields. The house (90m2 - 2 floors) is located on the same park as our other houses nr 07 and nr 09 (200m further). It stands on a 550m2 private garden surrounded by trees and bushes, which gives it a lot of privacy. We created several seating areas and cozy corners (including a GlassHouse / chill space) and an outdoor fireplace. In the garden you'll find a climbing dome, swing + trampoline.
location
The house is located on a small-scale park on the Markermeer, between the beautiful cities of Enkhuizen and Hoorn.
Holiday rental is legal on our park and allowed all year round. There are no park-facilities on our park. All cottages are from private owners and on private land. There is a car-free path leading to all the houses on the park. It's a wild mix; there are new houses, old houses, some deserted, some work-in-progress...
Het huis staat op een kleinschalig parkje aan het Markermeer, tussen de prachtige steden Enkhuizen en Hoorn.
Vakantieverhuur is legaal op ons parkje en het gehele jaar toegestaan. Er is geen concierge en er zijn geen park voorzieningen. Alle huisjes zijn van privé eigenaren en staan op privé grond. Er loopt een autovrij pad naar alle huisjes. Het is een diverse & wilde mix van huisjes; nieuw, oud, verstopt, groot, klein, work-in-progress...
In addition to the large, diverse garden and the fantastic view, our dear old light blue house has a functional layout spread over 2 floors.
The house has an open layout dining / kitchen / livingroom and upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and the bathroom. The house has a personal touch and feel to it, it has an at home-like atmosphere. It has "stuff"; you'll find lots of toys, books, records, and less-is-NOT-more in our houses!
Naast de grote, diverse tuin en het fantastische uitzicht heeft ons oude blauwe huisje een functionele layout verdeeld over 2 verdiepingen. Het huisje heeft een open eetkamer/keuken/woonkamer. Boven vind je 3 slaapkamers en de badkamer. Het huisje is wat ouder en heeft een persoonlijke touch en feel, met een huiselijke sfeer. Het heeft "spullen"; je vindt er veel speelgoed, boeken, platen - less-is-NOT-more in onze huisjes.

* Er is 1 toilet op de begane grond en 1 boven. Er zijn 3 slaapkamers;
1. Master slaapkamer met 1 Queen size bed (1.60x2.00).
2. Slaapkamer met 2 eenpersoonsbedden (0.90x2.00) en 1 babybedje (0.60x1.20)
3. Kleine slaapkamer met 1 Queen size bed (1.60x2.00).
* Matrassen (toppers) zijn van Matt Sleeps.
* De badkamer is voorzien van een ligbad (geen aparte douche),
2e toilet en wastafel/badmeubel.
* Er is een traphekje.
* Het huisje is voorzien van vloerverwarming en extra radiatoren.
* Wij zorgen voor bedlinnen en opgemaakte bedden. Handdoeken aub zelf meenemen.
* There's one ground floor toilet and one upstairs and you'll find 3 bedrooms upstairs;

* We provide bed linen and the beds will be made up. Please bring your own towels.

Houd er rekening mee dat het huisje niet geschikt is voor ouderen; de bedden zijn laag, er is geen inloopdouche (douche in bad), en er is een redelijk steile trap om naar boven te gaan. De wandeling vanaf de parkeerplaats naar de woning ongeveer 300 meter.
Please note that the house is not suited for the elderly; the beds are low, there is no walk-in shower (shower in the bathtub) and there is a relatively steep stair to go up. The walk from the parking lot to the house is about 300 meters.
Please also note that Internet is slow and not suitable for watching/downloading movies, only intended for checking in on emails. If you want to watch movies, make sure you download them at home already, to watch them here in the house. There are dvd's in the house that you can watch aswell.
if you cant find the network, please turn the modem on and off again.
And yes, there are spiders, flies, ants... insects! YES, you are on the countryside. We choose to not use poison, we accept it the way it is.
Last but not least, please treat our home as you would your own.
*Het is een minuutje lopen naar het Markermeer. Vanaf de parkeerplaats steek je de straat over, de dijk op en het grote weidse Markermeer is recht voor je!
*Als je een paar minuten naar rechts loopt, vind je een groen grasparkje aan het water, bij het meer, met veel bomen. Dit is een fijne plek voor een picknick, om te vliegeren, te zonnebaden of om te zwemmen in het Markermeer. Het water is niet diep. De stenen kunnen glad zijn.
*Een wandeling of fiets tochtje over de dijk is een echte aanrader in de avond Of vroeg in de ochtend... tijdens zonsondergang: het krijgt een magisch tintje.
*De dijkroute van het huisje/bungalowparkje naar de stad Hoorn (of Enkhuizen), is adembenemend. We houden van deze kleine omweg als we terug rijden naar Amsterdam.
*Er is een ieniemienie pittoresk dorpje genaamd Oosterleek (minder dan 100 inwoners, er zijn géén winkels). Je kunt naar/door dit dorpje lopen via de dijk (ongeveer 20 min lopen). Oosterleek is de rustplaats van de Wesfriese Omringdijk tussen de VOC-steden Hoorn en Enkhuizen.
*De dijk is het startpunt voor veel fiets- of wandeltochten door een afwisselend landschap van boomgaarden, kleurrijke tulpenvelden, weilanden met vee en pittoreske dorpjes die bekend staan om de Westfriese klokkenboerderijen.
*It's a 1 minute walk to the big Markermeer Lake. You simply cross the street from the parking, walk up the dyke, and the big Markermeer lake opens up to you.
*When you walk some minutes to the right, you'll find a green grassy waterfront park, down at the lake, which is a great place for a picnic, kite playing, sunbathing, and for swimming in the lake. The lake is not deep over there. The rocks can be slippery.
*A walk or bike ride on the dyke is highly recommended in the evening, during sunset, as it gets a magical touch Or early in the morning...
*The drive on the dyke from the bungalow park to the city of Hoorn (or Enkhuizen), is breathtaking. We love this small detour when we drive back to Amsterdam.
*There is a tiny picturesque village/community named Oosterleek (less than 100 inhabitants, there are NO shops. You can walk to / through this village (about a 20 min walk). Oosterleek is the resting place of the Wesfriese Omringdijk between the VOC towns of Hoorn and Enkhuizen.
*The dyke is the starting point for cycling or hiking through a varied landscape of orchards, colorful tulip fields, pastures with cattle and picturesque villages famous for the West Frisian bell farms.
