This very private charming, creative holiday cottage for two (+ baby) from Familie Buitenhuys is located on the edge of the forest, in a quiet and natural setting. A place where you wake up to birdsong, surrounded by silence, greenery, and space.

The cottage with fantastic (warm) outdoor bathtub has been lovingly and creatively renovated, with a unique and personal style. It’s perfect for anyone who wants to unwind, get creative, or simply enjoy the peace, nature, and special atmosphere of Familie Buitenhuys.

The cottage is situated on a small forested bungalow park, right at the edge of the woods. Holiday rentals are legal on the park and allowed year-round. There’s a cozy little restaurant and a swimming pool on the park (open during the summer months). You can park directly next to the cottage.

The park is a diverse and wild mix of houses — new and old, hidden and open, large and small, some finished, some still a work-in-progress…

Het huisje ligt op een klein bosrijk bungalowpark, direct aan de bosrand. Vakantieverhuur is op het park legaal en het hele jaar toegestaan. Er is een gezellig restaurantje en een zwembad op het park (open in de zomermaanden). Je kunt direct naast het huisje parkeren.

Het park is een diverse en wilde mix van huisjes: nieuw en oud, verscholen en open, groot en klein, sommigen helemaal afgewerkt, anderen nog in ontwikkeling…

Besides the lovely, diverse garden with a creative veranda featuring a built-in outdoor bath and the fantastic forest view, our cottage has a unique and imaginative layout. The house features an open kitchen island / dining table with a view to the outside.

Through the “bathroom block” you enter the open living area, where a creative open loft bed has been designed. From this bed, you’re still connected to the kitchen behind you through a delightful coffee-pass-through — a perfect spot for breakfast in bed.

Naast de fijne, diverse tuin met een creatieve veranda met inbouwbuitenbad en het fantastische uitzicht op het bos, heeft ons huisje een unieke en creatieve indeling. Het huisje heeft een open keuken met eiland/eettafel, met uitzicht naar buiten.

Via het “badkamerblok” loop je naar de open woonkamer, waarin een creatief open bedstede-bed is gecreëerd. Vanuit dit bed sta je nog in contact met de keuken achter je, dankzij een handig koffie‑doorgeefluik — een heerlijke plek voor ontbijt in bed.

- Er mag max 1 baby mee: eIgen babybedje meenemen aub.
- Er mag max 1 hond mee: 5 euro per nacht. Geef het aub bij de reservering even aan ons door.
- In de keuken vind je een vaatwasser-lade en een koelkast (geen vriezer). Er is geen magnetron of oven aanwezig.
- Er is 1 toilet met een wastafelmeubel.
- Het huisje heeft een comfortabel tweepersoons Queen size bed (160 x 200 cm) met een topper van Matt Sleeps, voor een heerlijke nachtrust.
- De badkamer is voorzien van een douche, en buiten op de veranda staat een heerlijk (verwarmd) bad, met  uitzicht op de bosrand.
- Het huisje is volledig gerenoveerd van binnen; alleen de buitenwanden en het dak zijn nog origineel. Alle installaties zijn volledig vernieuwd.
- Bedlinnen, handdoeken en opgemaakte bedden worden door ons verzorgd, zodat je direct kunt genieten van een ontspannen verblijf.

In the kitchen you will find a dishwasher drawer and a refrigerator (no freezer). There is no microwave or oven.
There is 1 toilet with a vanity unit.
The cottage features a comfortable queen-size double bed (160 x 200 cm) with a Matt Sleeps topper for a wonderful night’s sleep.
A maximum of 1 baby is allowed: please bring your own baby cot.
The bathroom is equipped with a shower, and outside on the veranda there is a lovely (heated) bath with a view of the forest edge.
The cottage has been fully renovated on the inside; only the exterior walls and roof are original. All installations have been completely renewed.
Bed linen, towels, and made-up beds are provided by us, so you can immediately enjoy a relaxing stay.
A maximum of 1 dog is allowed: €5 per night. Please let us know when making your reservation.

Al onze gasten ontvangen - direct na het boeken - een uitgebreide brochure met informatie over het huisje, het parkje en de omgeving. 

All areas in the house and on the property are accessible and private for the guest. 
Please note that, as this is a recreational Bungalow Park: RESPECT other owners & renters privacy.  
Immediately after booking, all our guests receive an extensive brochure with information about the cottage, the park and the surrounding area.

Other details to note

NO loud music allowed.
NO parties.
NO smoking.
NO drugs.
NO noise allowed on the path or on the parking lot.
NO tents allowed on the grass around the house.
NO candles in the house, NO bbq on property grounds.
NOT allowed to have more people in the house than booked for.

CHECK-IN is at 15.00 - CHECK-OUT at 10.00

Please also note that Internet is slow and not suitable for watching/downloading movies, only intended for checking in on emails. If you want to watch movies, make sure you download them at home already, to watch them here in the house. There are dvd's in the house that you can watch aswell.
if you cant find the network, please turn the modem on and off again.
And yes, there are spiders, flies, ants... insects! YES, you are on the countryside. We choose to not use poison, we accept it the way it is.
