This self-designed and largely self-build 2-bedroom house is located a 45-minute drive from Amsterdam, on a quiet, small-scale recreation park.  The house (67m2) is located on the same park as our other houses nr 07 (next door) and nr 20 (200m further). 
You'll experience a unique panoramic view over the fields and the dike immediately when you enter the house AND from your bathtub! The house is aimed at comfort with fun, quirky details and a playful and practical layout. In the garden you will find a private 2-person daybed, cozy corners, fireplace, slide, swing and a tipi.

Huisje 9  (67m2) is volledig zelf ontworpen en grotendeels zelf gebouwd en heeft 2 privé slaapkamers. Het staat op hetzelfde parkje als onze andere huisjes nr 7 (direct ernaast) en nr 20 (200m verderop). De huisjes liggen op 45 min rijden van Amsterdam, op een rustig kleinschalig recreatieparkje. Direct als je het huisje binnenloopt én vanuit je badkuip heeft het een fantastisch weids uitzicht over de velden en de dijk in de verte. Het huis is gericht op comfort met leuke, eigenzinnige details en een speelse en praktische indeling. In de tuin vind je een daybed, buitenoventje, glijbaan, schommel en een kindertipi. 

location

The house is located on a small-scale park on the Markermeer, between the beautiful cities of Enkhuizen and Hoorn.
Holiday rental is legal on our park and allowed all year round. There are no park-facilities on our park. All cottages are from private owners and on private land. There is a car-free path leading to all the houses on the park. It's a wild mix; there are new houses, old houses, some deserted, some work-in-progress...

Het huis staat op een kleinschalig parkje aan het Markermeer, tussen de prachtige steden Enkhuizen en Hoorn.
Vakantieverhuur is legaal op ons parkje en het gehele jaar toegestaan. Er is geen concierge en er zijn geen park voorzieningen. Alle huisjes zijn van privé eigenaren en staan op privé grond. Er loopt een autovrij pad naar alle huisjes. Het is een diverse & wilde mix van huisjes; nieuw, oud, verstopt, groot, klein, work-in-progress... 

Huisje 9 staat wat verstopt achter hoge bomen. Zodra je binnenloopt is het open en zeer licht. Het huisje heeft grote ramen, 2 slaapkamers en een heerlijke verlaagde badkuip aan het raam = direct aan de weilanden met in de verte de dijk. Volledig prive, geen inkijk mogelijk.
Het huisje heeft een functionele, verrassende layout met een open eetkamer/ keuken/ woonkamer, 2 fijne slaapkamers met een grote (regen-) douche ertussenin.
Het huisje heeft een persoonlijke touch en feel, met een huiselijke sfeer. Het heeft "spullen"; je vindt er speelgoed, boeken, platen - less-is-NOT-more in onze huisjes.

the space

House nr 9 is somewhat hidden behind trees, but as soon as you walk in it is open and very light. The house has large windows, 2 bedrooms and a fantastic bathtub at the bedroom window = directly on the fields with the dike in the distance.
The house has a functional and surprising layout with an open dining room / kitchen / living room, 2 good sized bedrooms with a large (rain) shower in between.
The house has a personal touch and feel, with a homely atmosphere. It has "stuff"; you will find toys, books, records - less-is-NOT-more in our houses.

Al onze gasten ontvangen - direct na het boeken - een uitgebreide brochure met informatie over het huisje, het parkje en de omgeving. 

All areas in the house and on the property are accessible and private for the guest. 
Please note that, as this is a recreational Bungalow Park: RESPECT other owners & renters privacy.  
Immediately after booking, all our guests receive an extensive brochure with information about the cottage, the park and the surrounding area.

Other details to note

NO loud music allowed.
NO parties.
NO smoking.
NO drugs.
NO animals.
NO noise allowed on the path or on the parking lot.
NO tents allowed on the grass around the house.
NO candles in the house, NO bbq on property grounds.
NOT allowed to have more people stay in the house than booked for.

Houd er rekening mee dat het huisje niet geschikt is voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn; de bedden zijn laag en er zijn hoogte verschillen in het huisje (platform etc). De wandeling vanaf de parkeerplaats naar de woning is ongeveer 100 meter.

Please note that the house might not be comfortable if you have physical disabilities - the beds are low and there are height differences (platform). The walk from the parking lot to the house is about 100 meters.

Neighborhood description

*Het is een minuutje lopen naar het Markermeer. Vanaf de parkeerplaats steek je de straat over, de dijk op en het grote weidse Markermeer is recht voor je!
*Als je een paar minuten naar rechts loopt, vind je een groen grasparkje aan het water, bij het meer, met veel bomen. Dit is een fijne plek voor een picknick, om te vliegeren, te zonnebaden of om te zwemmen in het Markermeer. Het water is niet diep. De stenen kunnen glad zijn.
*Een wandeling of fiets tochtje over de dijk is een echte aanrader in de avond Of vroeg in de ochtend... tijdens zonsondergang: het krijgt een magisch tintje. 
*De dijkroute van het huisje/bungalowparkje naar de stad Hoorn (of Enkhuizen), is adembenemend. We houden van deze kleine omweg als we terug rijden naar Amsterdam.
*Er is een ieniemienie pittoresk dorpje genaamd Oosterleek (minder dan 100 inwoners, er zijn géén winkels). Je kunt naar/door dit dorpje lopen via de dijk (ongeveer 20 min lopen). Oosterleek is de rustplaats van de Wesfriese Omringdijk tussen de VOC-steden Hoorn en Enkhuizen.
*De dijk is het startpunt voor veel fiets- of wandeltochten door een afwisselend landschap van boomgaarden, kleurrijke tulpenvelden, weilanden met vee en pittoreske dorpjes die bekend staan ​​om de Westfriese klokkenboerderijen.


*It's a 1 minute walk to the big Markermeer Lake. You simply cross the street from the parking, walk up the dyke, and the big Markermeer lake opens up to you.
*When you walk some minutes to the right, you'll find a green grassy waterfront park, down at the lake, which is a great place for a picnic, kite playing, sunbathing, and for swimming in the lake. The lake is not deep over there. The rocks can be slippery.
*A walk or bike ride on the dyke is highly recommended in the evening, during sunset, as it gets a magical touch Or early in the morning...
*The drive on the dyke from the bungalow park to the city of Hoorn (or Enkhuizen), is breathtaking. We love this small detour when we drive back to Amsterdam.
*There is a tiny picturesque village/community named Oosterleek (less than 100 inhabitants, there are NO shops. You can walk to / through this village (about a 20 min walk). Oosterleek is the resting place of the Wesfriese Omringdijk between the VOC towns of Hoorn and Enkhuizen.
*The dyke is the starting point for cycling or hiking through a varied landscape of orchards, colorful tulip fields, pastures with cattle and picturesque villages famous for the West Frisian bell farms.
