Huisje 17 (65m2) ligt exact tussen 's-Hertogenbosch en Nijmegen, aan de rand van een prachtig natuurgebied, de Maashorst. Het huisje heeft een vrolijke creatieve opfrisbeurt gekregen; we hebben het volledig opnieuw ontworpen, met nieuwe voorzieningen/meubilair. Ons huisje heeft centrale verwarming, dubbele beglazing, veel ramen, een pelletkachel voor de koudere wintermaanden en een (privé!) infrared sauna in het buitenhuisje. Vanuit het huisje (…en bad!) kijk je uit over de hoge bomen, struiken en velden daarachter. Gelegen tussen andere huisjes op een rustig eenvoudig recreatiepark.

You'll find our cottage (65m2) exactly in between 's-Hertogenbosch and Nijmegen, at the edge of the Maashorst, a beautiful nature reserve in Brabant. The cottage got a cute & creative fresh-up; it's been re-designed with new amenities / furniture. Our cottage has central heating, double glazing, lots of windows, a pellet heat stove for the colder winter months and a private infrared sauna in an outdoor cottage. From the cottage (…and bathtub!) you overlook the high trees, bushes and fields beyond. Located between other cottages on a low-key simple recreational park.
MAX 4 adults // or // MAX 2 adults + 3 children + 1 baby
= 6 people total.
No adults allowed in the top bunkbed due to safety reasons.
the space
Het huisje heeft een knusse tweepersoons bedstee (160 x 200) met een topper van Matt Sleeps. Er is een tweede slaapkamer met een tweepersoonsbed (140 x 200) en een extra bunkbed erboven voor 1 kind (+1 baby reisbedje).
Er is een fijne grote eettafel (+ kinderstoel). De keuken is compact en functioneel (en roze...). Er is een elektrisch fornuis, koelkast (met kleine vriezer) en een vaatwasser (geen oven/geen magnetron). De woonkamer heeft een grote comfortabele bank, van waaruit de tuin te zien is, en er is een televisie (Smart TV). De ruimte badkamer heeft een douche en je vindt een heerlijk vrijstaand ligbad in de tuinkamer! Er is een apart toilet.
The cottage has a cozy 2-person bedstay (160 x 200) with a topper from Matt Sleeps. There is a second bedroom with a 2-person bed (140x200) and an extra bunk bed above it for 1 child (+1 baby cot).
There is a large dining table (+ kids chair). The kitchen is compact and functional (and pink...). There is an electric stove, refrigerator (with small freezer) and a dishwasher (no oven/microwave). The living room has a large comfortable sofa, from which you can see the garden, and there is a television (Smart TV). The spacious bathroom has a shower and you will find a lovely free-standing bathtub in the garden room! The toilet is separate.
Between the lounge sofa and the dining area is a pellet stove (pellets incl.), with a cozy sitting area around the stove. Under the lounge sofa is a platform with drawers filled with children's toys and books/magazines.
There is a record player with my father's old records (yes, some have some scratches).
The cottage stands in a lovely 450m2 private garden and is located on the outer edge of a green recreation park with a view over the countryside. The garden has beautiful tall trees and many shrubs. There is a playground with swings, various sitting areas and a trampoline. We provide bed linen, towels (1pp) and a kitchen towel package for our guests.
Tussen de lounge bank en het eetgedeelte bevindt zich een pelletkachel (pellets incl.), met een gezellig zithoekje om de kachel heen. Onder de lounge bank is een platform met lades gevuld met kinderspeelgoed en boeken/tijdschriften.
Er is een platenspeler met mijn vaders oude platen (yes, sommige hebben wat krassen).
Het huisje staat in een fijne privétuin van 450m2 en ligt aan de buitenrand van een groen recreatieparkje met uitkijk over het platteland. In de tuin staan mooie hoge bomen en veel struiken. Er is een speeltoestel met schommels, verschillende zithoekjes en een trampoline.
Beddengoed, handdoeken (1pp) en een keuken handdoeken pakketje zijn inclusief.

Houd er rekening mee dat het huisje mogelijk niet comfortabel en/of geschikt is voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn; de bedstee is aan 3 kanten dicht (wel met een raam en gordijn), en er zijn wat hoogte verschillen (platform bij lounge bank en bij het vrijstaande bad).
Please note that the cottage may not be comfortable if you have physical disabilities; the box bed is high and closed on 3 sides (with a window and a curtain). There are some height differences (platform at the lounge sofa and at the free-standing bath).
* The cottage is located on a private park named Park Blokland, which is a bigger park named Recreational Park de Heidebloem. We have neighbouring (friendly) houses/owners on two sides, a street in the front of the house where you can privately park your car, and a view from the garden over the meadows behind the house.
* Due to work on the park, there is a temporary path behind our garden / behind our fence. This path is ONLY accessible for private use (not for us, and not for you unfortunately).
* As Park Blokland owners, we have access to the Recreatiepark Heidebloem facilities (pool, playground, bike rental,...) but we are NOT part of Recreatiepark Heidebloem. The concierge is not our concierge. You have to walk/drive through Recreational Park the Heidebloem, to get to our house on Park Blokland.
* In our garden is a (bright red) gate in the fence. Please do NOT use this gate.
* There is a range of small, picturesque, idyllic villages nearby, such as Grave, Schaijk, Ravenstein and Zeeland that will certainly charm you.
* You can enjoy walking or cycling in the De Maashorst Nature Reserve. The 3,500 hectares of pure natural beauty demand to be discovered. It is the surprising green heart of Brabant.
* De Maashorst has, for example the “Docus de Das-pad”, a very nice forest kids trail. The entrance is next to the Boshut (camping hartje groen).
* If you're looking for a larger city and more entertainment, you can go to Den Bosch or Nijmegen. Eindhoven is also not too far!
* After booking with us you will receive a brochure with more information about the house, the checkin, but also neighbourhood tips.
Neighborhood description
* Het huisje is gelegen op een privé parkje genaamd Park Blokland, op een groter park genaamd Recreatiepark de Heidebloem. Het huisje heeft aan twee kanten aangrenzende huisjes met vriendelijke eigenaren, een straat aan de voorkant van het huis waar de auto op privé terrein geparkeerd kan worden, en uitzicht vanuit de tuin over de weilanden achter het huis.
* Vanwege werkzaamheden aan het park, loopt er een tijdelijk pad achter het huisje. Dit pad is ALLEEN toegankelijk voor bestemmingsverkeer (niet voor ons, en ook niet voor jullie helaas).
* Als Park Blokland eigenaren hebben wij toegang tot de faciliteiten van Recreatiepark Heidebloem (zwembad, speeltuin, fietsverhuur,...) maar wij maken GEEN deel uit van Recreatiepark Heidebloem. De conciërge is niet onze conciërge. Om bij ons huisje te komen moet je door Recreatiepark de Heidebloem lopen/rijden.
* In onze tuin zit een (knalrode) poort in de heg. Deze poort aub NIET gebruiken.
* Er is een scala aan kleine, pittoreske, idyllische dorpjes in de buurt, zoals Grave, Schaijk, Ravenstein en Zeeland die zeker niet te missen zijn.
* In natuurgebied De Maashorst kun je heerlijk wandelen of fietsen. De 3.500 hectare pure natuurlijke schoonheid vraagt om ontdekt te worden. Het is het verrassende groene hart van Brabant.
* De Maashorst heeft bijvoorbeeld het “Docus de Das-pad”, een erg leuk bos kinderpad. De ingang is naast de Boshut (camping hartje groen).
* Zoek je een grotere stad en wat meer actie / mensen / winkels, dan kun je naar Den Bosch of Nijmegen. Eindhoven is ook zeker niet te ver!
* Nadat je bij ons boekt, ontvang je meteen een pdf brochure met meer informatie over de woning, de check-in, maar ook buurttips.
